Street Song Series
The Covid 19 pandemic brought acclaimed singer/songwriter Marla Torgerson unexpectedly home from living in Europe, writing a Musical. Though she had planned to move to Toronto from her Vancouver base after completion, it was her ALBERTA friends who helped her get out of lockdown in Sevilla, Spain, and created a safe space for her here. Because Alberta has called her home, Marla has created the Street Song Series in order to bring her voice home to you, her home town community.

YOUR show will be totally unique.
For each show, Marla will arrive and set up at the curb side in front of your home or in the centre of your cul-de-sac. Marla will use a parking and bi-law approved sound system, guitar and piano. Her folk/Neo-Soul vibe is perfect for a summer evening, in a lawn chair with a cold drink.
