Marla Torgerson is a Canadian singer-songwriter, performer, comedienne and writer with more than two decades of experience. She has performed across Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, South Korea and the United States, and recorded in Nashville alongside members of David Foster’s band.
Eight years in development, SINNER. was selected by Theatre Passe Muraille as one of three new Canadian musicals for its 2026 Toronto Fringe season before making its Edinburgh Fringe debut.
The show earned an A− from My Entertainment World, a four-star review from Everything Theatre, coverage from BroadwayWorld, and recognition from The List as part of Canada’s hottest talent at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe.
Marla has also been featured on Stageworthy, Musical Theatre Radio, Centre Stage and FringeReview.
